    We are seeing a problem with Create message running V2.7 ECO 1 under
    Windows NT V4.0.
    
    If I fire up a create message then in the cover memo section type a
    line of = i.e.
    ===================================================================
    
    Then send it.
    
    The received copy plus the message in the outbox are corrupt as shown
    below.
    
    ���������������������������������������
    ���������������������������������������
    �������������������=========================================
    =================== ========= ==========
    
    Under Teamlinks the � is displayed as y with '' above it. (The above was 
    cut and pasted)
    
    This does not seem to occur under V2.7-1 with Windows 95. 
    
    Is this a bug?
    
    Anyone else seen this.

I think this as to do with two bugs:

1. The 3rd part control used in the create message
   window has a bug such that we have to take its
   RTF and convert it to Word RTF.

2. Mastersoft has some sort of bug with y-umlaut
   on long words.

I think... I'll see if someone with more concrete
info than mine can reply.

This is a problem with the RTF editor in text mode on NT. We're trying
to code around a problem the vendor won't fix. It's better in eft 2;
but I'm hoping for a real fix by the time we ship.

    Thanks for the replies.
    
    Is the fix likely to come out in an ECO to V2.7 like ECO 2 perhaps?
    
    The customer I look after has around 700 Teamlinks users lacally, many
    more worldwide. After migrating to V2.7 we are receiving a few requests 
    to return to the old 2.5 editor. The loss of the right click popup cut 
    and paste edit menu is missed (mentioned in a previous note)
