TeamLinks V2.5 and Pathworks V5 Drawers are located on a pathworks file share. The users share these drawers in TeamLinks. about once or twice a month user's call up and folders have gone missing. So all users lose access to the contents of the folders. The admin person runs local fix to recover these documents. There are about 100 folders in approx 11 drawers. There are about 10 users set up this way. They are looking for an explanation as to why this happens. What should I look for? Thanks and Regards, Angela

What ECO of V2.5 are they running ? I believe fixes were made in a ECO of V2.5 that corrected problems with remote drawers. Dave

What PATHWORKS ECO's are they running? Have you examined the PATHWORKS log files for errors? You obviously have an increased chance for corruption when using a network drawer compared to a local drawer. Depending upon the network environment, the risk may be significant. I'd suggest turning off file caching in PATHWORKS, too. Dave Zaniewski

TeamLinks 2.5-03 (sorry for not putting that in the first note) I'll have a look at the PATHWORKS configuration, thanks! Angela |
