2147.0. "Problem with TeamLinks in Startup Win95" by ALFSS2::GIANNETTI_D () Wed Apr 23 1997 18:11

TeamLinks 2.7 of EFT1 3.0
Windows 95

Customer has TeamLinks 2.7-001 and Windows 95. Customer wants to
have TeamLinks in the Startup and run minimized.

The following was done...

1. Go to Start
2. Settings
3. TaskBar
4. Start Menu Programs
5. Advanced
6. Double Click on "Programs"
7. You will see TeamLinks Office
8. Double Click "TeamLinks Office"
9. Click Select TeamLinks Information Manager with right mouse button
10. Go to Properties
11. Click on Shortcut Tab
12. In the Run window choose Minimized
13. Click on OK
14. Drag TeamLinks Information Manager to Startup folder
15. Ok
16. OK

Restart. You will notice that TeamLinks does not start. If you have
Automatic Connect on Startup selected, you are never prompted to
automatically connect, etc.

I found this behavior in 2.7-1 and eft1 3.0.

Do you receive the same behavior?

2147.2Automatic Connect on Startup becomes uncheckedMSKRAT::HUJSAKThu Apr 24 1997 15:2115
    I tried this scenario. What I found is that TeamLinks does
    in fact start up minimized. But, and this appears to be the
    problem, it never prompts you to connect.

    Restarting causes TeamLinks to Exit.
    Exiting Teamlinks appears to Uncheck the option "Automatic Connect
           on Startup".

    I'm going to enter a PTR that Automatic Connect on Startup is becoming
       unchecked, and I wanted to verify with you that this is the root
       of the problem you are seeing? Is that correct?

    Thanks very much,
    Lynne
