| Is there anything in CFCDEBUG.LOG?
Can other people print to this printer with TeamLinks?
Possible to try a different printer?
What operating system?
Will notepad print?

| Hi,
The customer is using WIN95 and they have several people trying to
print from Team links.
Please note that they can print via DECnet using Pathworks. They
cannot print via TCPIP with the steps that Lantronics provided via IP
but all other apps print fine. She is sending me the CFCDEbug and the
information from Lantronics on setting up the IP print queue and will
post it asap.
Thanks,
Angela

| A fairly simple Windows API call failed that works for
other printers, other platforms. I would either suspect
the driver or some sort of hardware or network problem
that is keeping the driver from communicating with the
printer.

2135.5 | The driver works through Team Links | GRITS::CARTER_A | | Mon Apr 21 1997 16:18 | 12 |
| Hi,
What is confusing to me Jerry is why is the driver working for all
other apps on all PC's and this driver works if they use DECnet instead
of setting up through IP. The only reason they cannot use the
Pathworks DECnet solution is that there is bug in Pathworks that does
not keep the print queue set on a reboot THUS users continue to have to
reset up the print.
Thanks,
Angela

Confusing to me too. Besides getting the driver developers invovled, the
only thing I can think of doing is trying different ways of printing. Are
there any options in the Print Setup that can be turned off/on/around.
Maybe if the used OFFICE.INI to disable the print dialog? PrintDlg=0 in
[Printing]. Does Notepad print OK?
