| I don't know why this would happen. Is there anything in the log?
What service provider?
As I understand it, if a certain user selects (but does not open)
an unsent message and clicks on Print, it will not print the To:
field? Does it print the label, but not a value? Or is it missing
the To: label as well?

2133.2 | More information. | OASS::ANDRES_B | | Fri Apr 18 1997 13:42 | 24 |
| Jerry,
I was able to reproduce this it is strange. The To: field label
does not print either. Now the customer that reported this for her
user gets the To: field printed. It is just me and the user at
this site at this time. Now I have not tried on various PCs at
the CSC which I can do.
I am working from home today, on another PC with TL 2.7-001
if I create a message and print from create message the
To: field label and value prints.
I then saved the message. I click on the Message in the drafts
folder (mailworks is the server) and select Print. The To:
field value nor the label prints.
I then double click on the message in drafts and from create message
window select print and To: field label and value both print.
The To: field information does not print if I just select the
message from drafts and print from infoman.

| I have tried this a little and couldn't get the problem
to happen with V3 nightly. What service provider are you
using?

2133.5 | Beats me... | XANADU::CUMMINGS | Jerry Cummings, TeamLinks | Mon Apr 21 1997 06:34 | 12 |
| Beth,
I still cannot reproduce this problem. If you're not seeing
the To: field, I would have expected that either you asked
to NOT see the To field through Print Options, or there's
something in CFCDEBUG.LOG indicating a problem.
Another, rather extreme, possibility is that there's a bug
in TeamLinks. ;^) I'll see if I can get Rick or Joe to
play around with this on a 2.7 system.

2133.6 | Bad Profile entry (I think) | OASS::ANDRES_B | | Thu Apr 24 1997 11:50 | 27 |
| Well, I think I found the answer to this problem. It appeared
to be my Mailworks Profile.
I checked from 5 different PCs and I still could not get the To:
field to print. Of course it worked for Rick and for Jerry but
not for Beth. I then connected to another account from my PC
and created a message saved to drafts, selected the message
selected print icon the To: field and values print.
From TeamLinks Setup I started comparing Mail Profile entries
for the two accounts. I made them alike and still when connected
to my account the To: field would not print. Then I made the
profile entries alike from X4MAN. To: field still would not print.
I finally deleted my username from x4man and then checked to make
sure I did not have an entry in muas$profile.dat. I deleted
muasprof.ini and iosprof.ini in C:\Windows on the PC. I added
myself back as a MAILworks user in x4man. Connected from TeamLinks
and now the To: field and values print. Actually I ended up deleting
and adding myself back in X4man twice before it actually worked.
I have no idea what was wrong with the profile. I called the customer
and she was going to try this for her user and let me know if it
did not work. If it does not work I will update this.

| I was just about to suggest that. Do you believe me? ;^)
Interesting find. I hope this works for the customer too.
