Gary Floyd who is a DECKIE at WPAFB is reporting that he is unable to change his password to a 5 character password when he is running Teamlinks V2.7 attached to DEC MAILworks/Unix V2.0. The error is: "Access to Drawer or Document is denied" I tested this and could re-produce the errors. The customer says that since Unix allows a 5 digit password, so should Teamlinks. Should I IPMT this? Thanks.

It is not TeamLinks it's MailWorks for UNIX that insists on 6 character passwords. If you want to IPMT it, do it against MailWorks. |
