| If the ESSBASE integration isn't loaded into Excel 95, then can
the TL dialog box open the folder?
I just want to be sure that TL works. Is there anything strange
about that folder? Does this hang happen with every folder?

2102.2 | How to remove ESSBASE | AIMTEC::GIANNETTI_D | | Tue Apr 08 1997 18:32 | 11 |
| If the ESSBASE integration is removed - yes TeamLinks works just fine.
He did want me to tell you that he must go to the Tools/Add-Ins to
remove the integration and it is a "32-bit Addin".
I have called and left message to confirm that "32-bit Addin" must
be an addition to the list such as AutoSave, etc. but if it is not
that I want more specific information. I thought I would give you
what I do have at this time though.

2102.3 | No idea at this point. | XANADU::cascobay.zko.dec.com::TAMARA::STJEAN | Bob St.Jean | Tue Apr 08 1997 21:08 | 15 |
| Debbie,
I have no idea what the problem could be.
What does this Essbase add-in do? Is it all 32-bit code?
The TL integration for Excel 95 uses 2 of our flat thunks,
one for Filecab.dll and another for Convert.dll. I have to
wonder if this is somehow in conflict with Essbase.
Of course it could be something else entirely. I can only
guess.

2102.4 | 32 bit add-in | AIMTEC::GIANNETTI_D | | Wed Apr 09 1997 13:07 | 12 |
| Bob,
I received an email from the customer and he said that the add-in
shows as COMSHARE on the Add-In screen. He said the programmer
in charge of the project told him that COMSHARE is a 32 bit add-in.
I have asked for a name and number of a person in charge of this
product to see if maybe I can find out more information and shed
more light on the problem. Are there any specific questions I
should ask if I do get a contact?
