I've done troubleshooting on Teamlinks issues for a few years but have never seen this one until today - surprisingly. All users can make Teamlinks connections to ALL-IN-1 File Cabinets on a particular cluster except for one user. It is not a problem with the PC, but rather a problem with her particular account (it does not work from any PC). Connecting to this particular user account just hangs the session at the hourglass. I suspect one of her ALL-IN-1 files is corrupt? Any other thoughts? Thank you. [Cluster is VMS 5.5-2 ALL-IN-1 V3.1 Teamlinks PC V2.5-002]

2078.1 | remote drawer issue? | TROOA::MSCHNEIDER | [email protected] | Wed Mar 19 1997 22:23 | 3 |
See my reply in note 2073 .... ask that one user if they happen to have a remote drawer configured. The Reading England server is not reachable and causes TL to appear hung in my case. It will never timeout. | |||||

Yes...thank you! The user did have remote drawers and when the inaccessible drawer became available again she was able to get into Teamlinks. (I didn't have to make a VT connect to ALL-IN-1 and delete the drawer) |
