V3-EFT1 - Access to Favorites public folder hangs TeamLinks Using Win 95, dial-up networking, public folder listed in Favorites. Can see the public folder, but when I double click TeamLinks hangs. I can go launch Exchange and get into the folder. I know this worked before EFT3 was released because I actually opened this folder from Jerry's PC in his office. I don't know whether it has do do with the dial-up networking or not. Has anyone else tried this? Signe

Just tried it, and it works fine connected to Ethernet. If you open All Public Folders in DIGITAL1 over an asynch connection, you might as well call it a hang as it will take quite some time. I don't remember favorites having a problem as severe as that, but I only have four or five things in my Favorites folder. I know the folks in Galway are looking for ways to speed up ListContents, hopefully it will help in that case. Does it happen every time? Do the modem lights indicate much activity? Maybe you could try it fifty or sixty times and let us know if you got a hang each time? ;^) Jerry | |||||
