A customer has reported a display and print problem with messages sent from HP Open Mail (HPOM) via X.400. What happens is that the CR/LF seems to end up being translated as something different. The end result of this is that for the display you see either vertical bars or dots (depending on font and size) on screen. When printing, the first character after a CR/LF is missing. This only occurs when the message has come through X400, it is OK when sent via internet. Printing to file and then printing that file works fine too. Reading and printing from another interface, such as ALL-IN-1 also works fine. I have such a message if anyone wants to have a look at it. Anybody seen this before or have any ideas on how to get rid of it? Is it a bug (oops, feature!)? Thanks, Brian

I don't think that we're aware of any problems in this area. You can PTR it (see note 11) with a pointer to the problem file. Be sure to mention which version of TeamLinks the customer is using. What version of Windows, what printer, etc. Jerry |
