Hi, is it true that there is no support of TL V2.7 (on a PC with WNT V4.0) and the integration of OFFICE '95 or '97 ??? When it is true this is very bad, because we have many customers who wants upgrade from TL V2.5 to V2.7 and their OFFICE software. Is planned a patch for this problem ??? The integration in TeamLinks V2.7 supports Office 95. It does not officially support Office 97 (because Office 97 shipped after TeamLinks V2.7 was released). However, I you can get some integration with Office 97 by installing Simple MAPI and ODMA support in TeamLinks (these options are available when you do a customized installation). See note 42.7 for more information on TeamLinks V2.7 and Office 97. (Hmm, I just noticed that that note says that TeamLinks Simple MAPI and ODMA aren't supported on Windows NT...) - Nina | |||||

The technical issue with thunking down from a 32-bit app to a 16-bit DLL has been discussed before. It can't be done on Windows NT. See note 1844, or look for the Thunking keyword. The general FAQ for MS Office & TeamLinks is topic 42. | |||||
