Any ideas,
todays customer has NT 3.5-1 and Teamlinks 2.5-004. Every time he
installs onto a new PC both the operating system and Teamlinks, He then
gets the error CFC_WARN_NO_IOS_FORMAT_TBL. Looking this up gives an
error IOS normalization format table not set, and suggests that the
problem may be CONVERT.DLL not being loaded. (Teamlinks path incorrect
etc).
The customer has tried replacing this file with a known version that
works, and he ensures me that the path is set correctly.
Does anyone have any ideas on further checks or if I am lucky a
solution ?
Many Thanks
Ivan.

I'm not familiar with this particular problem, but if it was a problem with CONVERT.DLL, I'd also verify that there was exactly one CONVERT.DLL on the system and that it is in the TeamLinks directory. Maybe someone else will have more info. Jerry

Thanks for the reply,
yes there was only one of these files on the system, and it was
the same size as another CONVERT.DLL on working machines.
The customer is going to try a fresh installation locally, and not over
the network.

| 2027.3 | TLFORMAT.INI corrupt | FLASK2::rasmodem34.reo.dec.com::MCMICHAEL | A Cunning Plan... | Wed Mar 05 1997 06:07 | 7 |
I've found this often occurs after a V2.5 to 2.7 upgrade. The TLFORMAT.INI file gets corrupt. If you delete this file and then re-install 2.7 the problem goes away... Ian.
