1998.0. "Instruction on using MAPI Driver for ALL-IN-1" by ATHINA::KARVOUNIS () Wed Feb 19 1997 03:59

    Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find out some info on how to use the MAPI
tool. I tool is installed on the PC and I am running TLC 2.5
on the VMS system using ALL-IN-1 v3.0a. We want to use the
tool only for reading from our file cabinets to copy accross
    to the PC.

I am not familiar with the use of this tool. Do I have
to specify any information of the PC side so as to be able
to see my ALL-IN-1 account. When I tried to enter The user
name and password from the Exchange inbox menu the following
error occurred. "AIDA server unavailable or communication to
server not currently possible." However the AIDA server is
in running state on the ALL-IN-1 system.

Has anyone experienced this problem before.

    regards
    Olympia

Hi Olympia,

first, MAPI Driver for ALL-IN-1 is discussed in the 'MAPI Driver for ALL-IN-1'
conference which is located on IOSG::MAPI_DRIVER_FOR_ALL-IN-1_OFFICE_SERVER

For your problem the answer will be - as mentioned in the Readme.txt:

o Network access to a server running ALL-IN-1 Version
3.1 with TeamLinks Connection Version 2.5, or a later
                 version of ALL-IN-1 software.

Kind regards,

Cheers
Charly
