1986.0. "(Draft) printed if message is COPIED" by OASS::ANDRES_B () Thu Feb 13 1997 10:07

    TeamLinks 2.7
    ALL-IN-1 3.2
    HP4si - HPColorLaser

    When printing a mail message that has COPIED status, the printout
    has the word (Draft) printed under INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM. This
    occurs when choosig print. If printing using the Print to Server
    (Draft) is not printed.

    To duplicate the problem - COPY (not MOVE) using File | Copy a
    mail message from the READ folder to another folder and then Print.

    According to the site that is reporting this the (Draft) is causing
    some confusion. Is this the expected behavior?

    Thanks,

    Beth

The intent of (Draft) is for marking those
messages that are being printed but that haven't
been sent yet. Printing from the Create Message
window should print "(Draft)" for example.

Do the attributes of the message being printed
show it as an unsent message?

1986.2Status shows as COPIED from VTOASS::ANDRES_BFri Feb 14 1997 08:389
    Jerry,

    The status of the message when looking at this from the VT client
    says COPIED not UNSENT. From TeamLinks the icon for the object
    is for Old (read) message. If you use the Print to Server option
    and print the same message (Draft) does not appear.

1986.3Bug.XANADU::jerryc.zko.dec.com::tamara::CummingsJerry Cummings, TeamLinksFri Feb 14 1997 14:598
This is a bug and needs to be entered, but I
don't know how that's being done these days.
We switched from QAR to PTR.

I can enter it if you'd like. Just let me know.

Jerry

    Jerry,

    I currently don't have access to get to the PTR system.
    Could you please enter it for me?

    Thanks,
