A customer called with this request and I cannot seem to find
an answer. I did some testing with another IOS specialist
to be certain I had a full understanding of this issue.
I checked around in notes and nothing. Since TLV2.7 added
the SetMailUser option this seems a most appropriate next
step for the user.
The customer often uses the LU option when she reads her
bosses mail; once he has granted her access via the SMU option
in ios. She would like the same functionality available in
TL2.7.
Is the option available; however, somehow not documented? Or
is this a strick IOS function that is not available in TL.
Thanks,
AL

What's LU? I cannot find it in my ALL-IN-1 menus. Bob
| 1971.2 | Leave message Unread; You must be reading a message | VELI::KORKKO | Veli Krkk @FNO, 879-5512 | Sat Feb 01 1997 09:46 | 5 |
LU is Leave message Unread. You can see it e.q. in the form
OA$LIST$MAIL$MENU. I.e, you must be reading a message and then
LU leaves the message in NOTED state (I think).

| 1971.3 | Maybe in a future release. | XANADU::cascobay.zko.dec.com::TAMARA::STJEAN | Bob St.Jean | Mon Feb 03 1997 13:45 | 8 |
Thanks. We don't support that, but on the surface it doesn't sound like it would be rocket science to add a Leave Unread option or command to TeamLinks. I suggest getting a requirement into the product manager so that it will be concidered for a possible future release. Bob
