1968.0. "POP3: Error 34: Error 3 accessing housekeeping file" by UTRTSC::SCHOLLAERT (Ajax: World Champions 1995) Thu Jan 30 1997 06:23

    Hello,

    Customer tries to get TeamLinks 2.7 retrieve mail from
    his POP3 server (Silicon LAbs running on NT).

    He gets an error (34 ?) in the log file. Retrieving the same message with
    another POP3 client works fine.

    Are the error messages in the log file fro TeamLinks
    or from the POP3 server ? And what does it mean ?

Jan,
	It looks like there is a badpath for a temporary file we use during
the POP3 retrieval. In the [POP3] section of Office.ini there should be a
DecodeFilename keyword. That keywords value is the file we are trying to
write to. The filename is cantdcod.p3m and the path is taken from the
DosPath keyword in the [LocalStaging] section.
