1959.0. "Error 65535 with Send Action from Infoman Script" by OASS::ANDRES_B () Fri Jan 24 1997 12:12

    After a TeamLinks 2.7 installation on a Windows 95 and a Windows 3.1
system, these two system get an error 65535 when running Infoman
scripts that contain the Send action.

At first a startup configuration was being chosen which connected
to the file cabinet using TeamLinks Remote and then an Infoman
script was run that was Send Unsent Messages Hangup.

To try and find the exact cause we started removing different
pieces to the problem. First we connected using the remote
connection manager without using a startup configuration.
When running the script again still the 65535 error. We then
created a new script and ran it. The new script had the same
actions. This also failed. We tried running the Copy and Move
scripts in the Infoman Scripts folder in the Local Demonstartion Drawer
and they worked fine. Next we commented out the folder alias
section of office.ini and recreated the folder aliases this
still failed. We then tried to send using another folder alias
    this still failed.

The only common thing in this problem is the send command. If he
connects to the file cabinet and then clicks on a message in the
Local Mail Unsent Message Folder and chooses Send from the Mail pull
down the send operation works fine.

The script log on the screen justs says

Have them put SeTrace=1 in the scripting section of office.ini and we'll
see if that sheds any light.

    Mike,

Could you give me a little more detail on this scripting section
of office.ini? I think I must be missing something. Is this a
section called [Scripting] with SeTrace=1 as the entry?

    Thanks,

    Beth

Do either of these systems have TCP/IP on them? It looks like we're going
down a code path that's trying to load CFCIMAIL which has a dependency on
TCP/IP. It's a bug so QAR/IPMT it.

    Mike,

I just spoke with the customer again and on one of the PCs the
user wanted a new hard drive so Windows and Teamlinks were
reinstalled selecting TeamLinks Remote as the transport
and it is working fine. On the second PC this same thing
will be done the end of this week and he is going to get
    back with me.

These two PCs did not have TCP/IP on them. When the customer
calls me back I will decide whether to IPMT or QAR.
