Does anyone know the outcome of this problem?
I am seeing the problem on a customer site and they are using HP
LaserJet 5Si-5Si MX V2.35. Does a later HP driver fix it?
Setting the default printer to LaserJet 5Si-5Si MX PS all is O.K.
Thanks,

| As far as we know, it's a problem with that
particular HP driver. Have you checked their
WWW site to see what the latest one is?
Sorry,

1452.15 | Another HP5SI Driver problem. | AIMTEC::LUCAS_A | | Thu Apr 24 1997 15:20 | 15 |
| I have a customer that has a HP5si; however, not the PS model.
She changed the driver to the hp5si mx ps driver and she is able to
change her fonts without problems. Nevertheless, she contacted HP
about using the driver with the HP5SI and was told her that this was
not a good idea (interfere with printing from applications).
She really needs to be able to change fonts; however, she cannot use
the HPsi MX PS driver due to her printing limitations. Is there any
other workarounds we can provide? I suggested using a
HP4si(unacceptable).
Thanks, I will be happy to get more information.

| I can't think of any. The two I would suggest are getting
an updated/corrected driver or using a driver that does
not have the problem.
I'll forward your note though in case another developer
has some ideas.
