| Is is safe to assume that there are viewers AND converters for
Powerpoint included in TLv2.7. Also, is the field MIMEContentType
available for Powerpoint as well. I noticed same format types
have this field and so do not. I am looking in the Tlformat.ini
file.

No it's not safe to assume; but there is a powerpoint 4 viewer.

That's because some formats have a content-type defined in the RFC
and some do not. I have seen vnd.ms-powerpoint; but most mime readers
seem to just use the .3 file extension to determine the application.
You can add one if you like, I'm not aware of any mailers that will
take advantage of it.
