2276.0. "Tides through the Cape Cod Canal" by DECC::CLAFLIN (Doug Claflin dtn 381-6355) Fri Aug 16 1996 12:13
Well I am sitting here without a tide book, which is safely on Holiday
II in Woods Hole.
I am planning to bring Holiday II from Cape Cod to Cape Ann this
weekend. After discussing it with Mark Eklof, the idea of sailing
tonight is appealing. The single most driving factor is the status of
the tides. Basically I can not buck the tide at either Woods Hole or
the Cape Cod Canal.
This would give us all all day Sunday to be foolish.
So I am interested in when the tide starts to flood at Woods Hole (run
from Buzzard's Bay to Vinyard Sound), and flood at Cape Cod Canal (run
from Buzzard's Bay to Cape Cod Bay. The ebb times would also be
useful. I need the times for the next 12-16 hours or so. After that I
have my copy of Eldridge to use.
Is there a URL with the tides on it?

| Mark Eklof actually deserves credit for getting this from Alta
Vista before me.
