Does anyone know of reasonably priced moorings between Newport R.I. and Scituate, MA for a 4' draft, 30' sailboat? Thanks, Bob STOWOA::PACL dtn: 276-9251

Pirate Cove Marina has moorings on the Sakonnet River for $600 per season. No launch service. PCM phone # is 401-683-3030.

Check with the Falmouth Harbor master. A couple of years ago there wee still no waiting lists on some of the less desirable harbors. Seeing the list is free. Getting onto the list is $15 per year. You have to put your own mooring in once given a plot of water. I would guess that you can take the mooring with you when you leave. For one season, this is not worth doing. For multiple ones who knows. Pandameran used to have space also. Or you could try exercising your right to anchor. ;-) Doug dtn 881-6355

Just wondering. Where did you end up staying for the summer? How much was it? Where did you look? etc. |
