Folks, I am contemplating purchase of a 1985 Etap 23. Critical to my needs is ease of recovery onto the trailer since the craft will be based on land. I have test sailed the craft and am very happy with its on-water comfort and performance. Unfortunately, the trial recovery I attempted was unsuccessful due to: - Launching used was not purpose built. More of a winter cradle trailer. (I am happy to invest in a more suitable trailer if I know it work well). - The slipway was very steep. * Can anyone comment on the ease of recovery onto a decent trailer? * What tips do you have for recovery in a cross wind on an open slipway? Thanks-Ken
