2227.0. "Rockland, ME, area rental" by STOWOA::KULA () Mon Jul 24 1995 15:34

    I will in Rockland, ME the week of Aug 14th, staring at the Penobscot
    Bay without a boat. Does anyone know of any reasonable day rental
    locations between So. Thomaston and Camden where I could possible find
    a half day rental? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ron,

Give me a call this evening.

Holiday II will be in Casco about that time. Depending on my cousin's
itinerary, we may have an extra berth on her for a couple of days. The proposed
itinerary is in the notes file #2193(.9?). The other possibility is your
picking up a rental for a day or two and we sail around together.

    Here's a few for the area....I really don't know anything about
    them, so I can't guess if they charter daily/weekly/hourly.

    - Bay Island Yacht Charters - Rockland	207-596-7550

    - Johanson Boatworks - Camden		207-236-7021

    - Coveside Marine - Christmas Cove		????
      (This one is a bit outside the area you're looking at, but I
       know that they do 1/2 day and day charters. )
