So long everyone; it's my turn to say goodbye. I've been working
for Oracle since last December, but our network connection to DEC was
maintained until now. They'll be restricting our access to the DEC
network, including NOTES, on Friday.
I've learned a lot from many of you, and I'll miss not having
access to SAILING and all your stories.

As of the 24 of this month, Secret Arrival should be "asterisked" in
7.1 !
Time to go I am afraid.
I just wanted to say though that if any noter (or DECCIE) is in the
Newfoundland Area, let me know and I will at a minimum provide a shower
etc.
I've always loved this conference and have learnt a ton from it in
spite of the poorly hidden predjuidices against the world's best sailor
DC. !

I am also departing for bluer waters. Have enjoyed reading the many
notes in this conference and have received many useful bits of info and
advice. I'll miss the sharing of everyone's experiences.
I'm heading for Florida well prepared (bought the Endeavour 40 I asked
for info on some time ago).
I wish all of you well and good weather. If you happen to venture to
the Ft. Lauderdale area, stop by if you get a chance. I'll be joining
a company in Boca Raton called "the Panda Project".
