Hi I'm new to the conference and need help in finding some pointers to where I can call to bareboat charter a cat (30-40 foot) out of Florida for the Christmas season. Has anybody had the opportunity to do this in the past and have a good agent to talk to ? I am interested in a cat since my wife is not much of a sailor and I assume that the cat will be more stable while providing reasonable speed and space below. I have six people so assume that I need at least a 30 foot boat.

2165.1 | A Boat Owner who charters his catamaran | MR4DEC::RONDINA | Tue Sep 20 1994 12:39 | 12 | |
Steve, At the Newport Boat Show I met a boat owner from New Hampshire, who bought a 35' catamaran (one of the beautiful French designed ones), and has placed in a charter company's fleet. I saw the boat at the show and it will sleep 6-8 people. It's a beauty. His name is Bruce Lawson, phone 603-798-5660. Good Luck, Paul Rondina |
