Does anybody know what became of Alcort Sailboats.......who made the
Zuma. The last address I had for them was Waterbury Ct. But directory
assistance no longer shows a listing. Were they bought out or did they
go turtle:-)

They sold their molds to Pearson who then went belly up. The molds
were bought by a new group Sunfish Laser who are producing some of the
boats from the old AMF line but not all. I believe that the
headquarters for Sunfish Laser is in Newport RI. The Zuma is in
production and the Sunfish Laser folks have adds every month in most of
the sailing rags.
