    By the end of the summer I'm planning on purchasing a 35' to 40' sail boat
    for $50-75K.  Unfortunately, my knowledge of sailing craft is limited
    to less than 20'.  I'd appreciate recommendations on what manufacturers 
    build the best yachts for the general prerequisites listed in priority.
    
    1.  resellable in Manhatten, NY
    2.  live-in functionality for two
    3.  off-shore cruising (extremely sea-worthy for trips to Bermuda)
    4.  short-handed sailing
    5.  high Hp engine
