2022.0. "SHIP to SHORE communications" by BTOVT::HILTON_G (SYS-F-UNIVCRASH% REALITY.SYS Corrupted - Reboot Universe? (Y/N/Quit)) Mon Apr 26 1993 10:53

I have entered this as a base note thinking that others
might like to have this information...

I am looking for a list or book listing phone numbers and
frequencies of marine operators alone the entire east
coast of the US.

Does anyone have or know where we can get such a listing?

I believe Reeds Almanac has a listing of the frequencies.

There should be a new '93 edition on the boat, I bought it in January.

Can someone do me a favour, call the High Seas Operator and find out the
equivalent toll number to the 1 800 number. (Outside the USA its not possible
to dial 1-800 numbers or cross-refer them to a toll number)

I had exactly the same question as .0 .
But so far, not the right answer.

If you have an SSB radio on board, you need a book with all the
frequencies of all stations. I usually had the book from the german
office for shipping. This is a very expensiv and uggly book. It
was printed some years ago and every month there is an update
to it. The monthly update is very expensiv. So I ordered a "new"
one and received again exactly the same book as I already had, but
with 3 years of monthly updates. I took me a week, to fill in all
the loose pages. Now, one year later, its out of date again and it
is not possible to backorder the missing monthly updates.

I'm looking now either for the british or american equivalent book.
It should contain all marine shortwave SSB (2MHz-25MHz) frequencys and
station working hours worldwide. The NP XXXX number would be ok.
I know, there is from the ITU in Geneva a book with the frequencys
of all radiostations in the world. But I need the nautical book.
There is more information, like primary channel etc....

Along the lines of HF marine communications, could someone list the
frequencies and channel designations for the high frequency marine eg.
6A, 6B etc. I would like to tune in on them with my short wave
    receiver while on land.

    Thanks,
