I understand that the Tall Ships will be visiting Newport the weekend
of July 17th. Does anyone have detail on this?

As I understand it, "they"...limited #'s..... will be in Newport that
weekend, with a parade of sorts on the 20th.
Parade, according to my source, will consist of a rounding of Gould
Island and then back south.

Yes. For details call Chamber of Commerce 401 847-1600.
Some have sailed for Liverpool but quite a few will be
in Newport also a very small number in Fall River.
