    According to people I know who have a slip there, Norton's Marina in
    East Greenwich, RI has been ceased by the IRS.  They received a letter
    stating that there was an outstanding tax lein for $55K and that if
    they intended to contract winter storage or a slip for next season,
    checks should be made payable to the IRS.
    
    I guess Norton's didn't buy and display the proper marina "fee"
    sticker, huh?  Anybody have any more info?

	Well they have not been seized yet but they're having some sort of "dispute" with the IRS. The IRS took Norton's Accounts Receivable records and sent notices to everyone informing them to send any money owed Norton's to the IRS instead for outstanding taxes.
