Does anyone know if there is a Monhegan Race this year? The only reference was note 1242 "1989 Monhegan Race". I'm looking for info if available. Thanks, Phil

What timing! My invite arrived last night.
It's been a mite yuppified, per my quick scan; Benz is a sponsor,
KISS-108 is broadcasting results !?!, Mount Gay's kicking in Rum...
Didn't read enuff to check the price- but it IS a fundraiser, as I
recall- they're also connecting some kind of auction with it.

There seem to be two Monhegan Races.
The one for which I enterred the previous info is for the Monhegan
Challenge.
The other Monhegan race is the Monhegan Island race. This one is the
one referenced in the first reply to this note.
The Monhegan Island race is hosted by the Portland yacht Club, will
be held on August 10 and 11.
