1665.0. "WEST OF IRELAND SAILING OFFER" by ESSB::TFOOTE () Mon Feb 11 1991 11:46

I will shortly be taking early retirement and leaving DEC on the 8th
March. Obviously this will give me far more time to sail and follow
other pursuits which until now have been limited by the availability of
    leasure time.
It is my intention to have my boat work for its living and I plan on
offering skippered charters and also sail training facilities.
Based on Galway Bay within easy reach of quite splendid West coast
cruising grounds, the yacht is a thirty foot bermudan sloop, fast but
sea-kindly and offering accomodation for up to five. She is fully
equipped with safety equipment for off shore cruising.
In addition, I will be offering luxuary shore-based accomodation in a
self contained two bedroomed apartment overlooking Lough Corrib but
only 2 1/2 miles from the centre of Galway. The yacht and apartment can
    be attractively packaged.
Arrangements can easily be made for anyone who would prefer lake
fishing for trout/salmon or deep-sea angling.
Should anyone out there require detailed information either now or in
the future, my home address is as follows:

                      Tom Foote,
                       "The Moorings",
                         Tonabrocky,
                          Bushy Park,
                           Galway,
                            Ireland. Telephone: 091-22833

I would like to wish you all the very best of good fortune, happy
sailing, and my thanks for the Sailing Notesfile.

    Regards,
    Tom

    Tom,

I will surely miss your reports next time around.

I will keep your address handy, the 'Captain' has her heart set on a
trip the the British Isles before too many years pass and your place
sounds like a delightful place to stop.

Mr Moderator, thanks for bending the 'rules' on 'personal gain' since
I'm sure it would be any of the rest of us t'would gain more than Tom
if we are able to pass his way.

Tom, have your son enter a note from time to time to let us know how
    you are getting on.

    Fred
