I bought last year the North/Sailtech sailing simulator: a MS-DOS software 
which simulates a regatta.

For those of you who race sometimes/regularly, and have (as I have) difficulties
to choose between the left and the right leg, this software is really impressive
and well documented. 

You are in the role of a skipper racing against 5 to 15 other boats, in a 
variable wind, an you can

- select and trim your sails (sheets, halyard, cunningham, backstay, outhaul,
                              vang, ...)
- visuallly analyse you trimming
- steer yourself or select a constant apparent wind angle
- Follow your boat and the fleet on the map
- See your electronic instruments: wind, speed, VMG, % performance, ...
- Look at the weather forecasts
- ...

I'm still using the version 1.02, and I would like to buy the new version (1.1?)
However, in Europr it's rather expensive (over $100). I remember I've seen 
last year in a US sailing magazine some advertisement to buy this software
by mail, at a better price. But here in Switzerland it's not possible to find 
US sailing magazine.

Has anyone seen such advertisement, and could give me the price and ordering 
info ?
