| I am afraid that I dont have an answer but I do have the problem ....
particularly on a couple of Mustang jackets with nylon outer shell.
I'd love to hear a solution to this one.

| I had the same problem with my foul weather gear, I sprayed the mildew
with Tilex and wiped it off with a wet sponge. Next I ran it through
the washing machine using a mild detergent. It worked great.

| I regularly clean up the shower's mildew crop with Simple Green, a soft
bristle brush and a modicum of elbow grease. No reason to think it
wouldn't work on FWG.
Still, .2 sounds even easier.

| Tilex will take the color out of clothing, including nylon.
Someone must have a better solution.

Try a little Lemon Juice mixed with some white vinegar ---
This works well on canvas tops etc... & I don't see any reason it would
harm the clothing -- though you may want to wash the vinegar odor out
afterwards.
Take care,

| Boat U.S. sells a mildew stain remover. I imagine other mail order
houses do also. I used some on some cushions with good success. It smells
like a bleach but it didn't effect the color on the cushions...did dry
out my hands some though. It may have some bleaching effect on other
material so if you use it better check.
