This weekend saw the completion of the J24 World Championship series in
Dublin. The final sixth race brought spectacular high speed reaches in
force five winds with American Jim Brady emerging as the overall
winner.
Top Irish helm John Ross Murphy was 11th overall.
The highly competitive 62-boat fleet was dominated by the US entries
who finished with four places in the top ten.
Australian, Ian Bashford took third overall with top British
competitor, Colm Simonds having to be content with 5th place.
