at Jubilee Yacht Club, Beverly, Mass.

STARTING LINE: Salem Channel Buoy (Curtis Point), Mark "5", unless the
committee boat hoists code flag LIMA and proceeds elsewhere.
FINISH LINE: Mark "5", unless the course is shortened in the prescribed manner.
COURSES: To be provided at Skippers' Meeting and signaled at the starting line.
TIME LIMIT: 5 hours after the start of each class.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
*** Time-on-Time Handicapping, based upon PHRF Ratings, ***
*** will be used to determine finishing positions. ***
TROPHIES: First and Second Place Trophies will be awarded for all classes
with a minimum of 5 entries. Trophies will be presented after the race.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:
Saturday: Following the Skippers' Meeting, the skippers and crews are
invited to a Reception and Auction. The Auction will consist
of bidding for "Industry/Celebrity Crew Members". Complimentary
Hors d'ouvres and a cash bar will be available.
Sunday: Trophy presentation following the race. Cash bar available.

| I entered the base note (keyword=RACING) on behalf of the race sponsor.
This is an opportunity similar to the P-Town - Monhegan Race which benefits
another worthy cause.
Note the "auction" and the social activities as well. I believe this charity
is covered by the our corporate matching gifts program as well.
I plan on racing my "clorox bottle" around the marks (cruising fleet?) and
hope that some of you fellow noters will be able to join in. As far as the
$100 entry fee, perhaps the crew could help out on obtaining the donation from
interested parties.
(I'm pushing to have an award provided for the most highly pledged ($$$) boat!)
I'll be glad to communicate any questions to the JYC MS Race Chairperson.
