The land-sailers that I'm thinking of are basically iceboats with wheels. I
am also recalling that Norton Boat Works, well known for its iceboats, is also
in the land sailer business. No guarantees, but I suggest you contact them at:

	Norton Boat Works
	535 Commercial Ave.
	P.O. Box 464
	Green Lake, Wisconsin 54941
	(414)294-6813

They may also have other references for you.

The September DN newsletter has a long article on the 1990 Land Sailing Worlds
held on Dry Lake on the California-Nevada border. Six classes raced, four
based on sail area, Manta (described as manufactured one design), and the Five
Square Meter class (one design development class). The Five Square Meter class
was described as a large international class with 60 participating in this
regatta.

The DN supplier listing includes one landyacht supplier:

Nord Design, 9079 Green Rd., Box 99, Pinon Hills, CA 92372
(619)868-4484 Landyachts, related equipment, lessons, information
