We'd like to moor in Portsmouth NH next season, maybe storgae for
winter too. Can anyone suggest and marinas with moorings available.
We are more interested in finding something inexpensive than something
terribly convenient. Thanx.

MOORINGS IN THE PORTSMOUTH AREA ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.
GREAT BAY MARINA IN NEWINGTON IS THE ONLY FULL SERVICE YARD IN THE
AREA.THEY HAVE MOORINGS , BUT THEY ARE 6 MILES UPRIVER.
YOU MAY WANT TO PLACE AN AD IN THE PORTSMOUTH HERALD FOR A MOORING
FOR NEXT SEASON.GOOD LUCK.

Great Bay may be a storage option! With strong tides on the
Picataqua (sp?) and possibly having to wait for a falling tide
in order to clear the last bridge, I consider Great Bay impossible
for cruising.
