1275.0. "Public Boat Ramps - MASS Area" by MEMORY::LAZGIN () Fri Jul 07 1989 09:52

    I am looking for a list of public boat ramps in the Massachusetts,
    New Hampshire, RI Area.

    Could all noters list the public ramps they know of in the responses
    to this note?

    Thank you,

    Frank

    You can get a complete list from the State, but I forget which
    department. Fish & Game division, I think.

    In the 1985 Waterway Guide there is a comprehensive listing of public
    ramps - I would imagine that they've published the list in more
    current additions. You can purchase the guide at a marine supply
    store for about $12.

    I've used the ramps in Plymouth and Salisbury and found both to
    be convenient ($5 fee for Salisbury).

    Other locations include Duxbury, Marblehead, Nantasket.

1275.3Clark's GuideNEBVAX::PALUMBOAre we there yet?Mon Jul 17 1989 14:245
    I found a book titled CLARK's Guide....it has detail info on every
    inland lake in NH (only). The guide shows the location of every
    ramp on every lake and provides the directions. If you fish it
    is extreemly helpful. I bought mine at Zylers in Merrimack....

1275.4Booklet available by mailHICKRY::ADAMSThu Aug 03 1989 18:2622

    A few weeks ago this information was published in the Boston
    Globe and I copied it down but haven't sent for the booklet yet.

    The publication is: Public Access To The Waters of Massachusetts.

    The cost by mail is $3.00. I think maybe $2.00 if you pick one up
    in person.

    Checks payable to: Commonwealth of Massachusetts

    Address: Public Access Board
             100 Nahaua St.
             Boston, MA 02114

    I believe this is the same location of the Registry of Motor Vehicles
    and Registry of Marine Vehicles.

1275.5Boating Almanac Vol 1 for oceanNETMAN::CARTERThu Aug 03 1989 18:517
    Boating Almanac, Volume 1, covers Massachusetts, Rhode Island and
    New Hampshire; among others. It lists ramps on the ocean and rivers
    leading to the ocean. Shows their location on very small scale renditions
    of actual charts. Boating Almanac 1988 is the most recent edition
    for Volume 1. The author and publisher are cleaning up some
    embarrassingly old information before publishing a new one.
