I need to find a chart covering Lagoon Pond (just south of
Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard, MA). I have charts covering
the coast which provide no detail on the pond. Does anyone know
whether there is such a chart (or even better have one that I could
copy until getting my own)?
I'm using a mooring there and have been told that it gets pretty
shallow. My Catalina 30 draws 4'+ and I prefer avoiding problems.

I've brought boats in there and have windsurfed there extensively over
the years. It is only shallow if you go outside the the marked buoys.
One of them marks a sand bar that extends more than half way across the
lagoon (it's only 1 ft deep at low tide!). THe channel on both sides
of the draw bridge should be faithfully honored as it does get very
shallow immediately outside the marked area.

You need the Small Craft folio chart: #13229SC (South Coast of Cape Cod
and Buzzards Bay) Page C.
I'm not sure if this chart is readily available right now. It may be
out of print. I can make a copy for you if you like.
