Can anyone tell me of any clubs or organizations that sponsor Laser or Laser II
class racing?  I bought a Laser II last season and would like to either race 
my own boat or crew with someone (permanently or temporarily) on their own Laser
or Laser II class boat to gain some more experience.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

	Carla, When is the "flight of the Lasers"? And whereabouts is newport/balboa? (I plan to be on the west coast the last week of June and into July...is there a chance?....) john

	Hi, Community Boating on the Charles River Basin has Laser Sailing, and racing. It has both informal racing, and formal racing (complete with a racing skipper rating, protest meetings, and other people who are serious.) There is a racing club within Community Boating. The only thing is that you have to get the Helmsman rating in the Mercury (a 16 foot centerboard sloop), then pass a laser rating test. I suggest you go soon. We are also running some courses in racing (for members). The phone number is 523-1038.
