Looking to charter for a week in New England this summer. Prefer
a comfortable 30' plus sailboat that sleeps four. July would be
the prefered month. Can provide excellent references demonstrating
big boat experience.

One option: Hinckley Charters, out of Bass Harbor, ME. (Sorry; you'll have to call info for the number.) I've chartered from them before, and they have everything from Sabre 28's on up to Mason 44's, with a reasonable variety (~25 boats) in between. They aren't the cheapest way to charter, but I've found the boats to be uniformly clean and well-prepared. Plus their service is very good if something unexpected happens while you're out there mid-week. They're also up in an interesting part of the coast, if you're not put off by the chance of fog and the usual collection of ledges. J. | |||||
