I am not too familiar with the boat but I did know the owner of a Caliber 28, 34 and now a 38. His name is Tom Smith but I have not spoken to him for a couple years. He happens to be the surgeon pictured int the Caliber advertisements. All I can say is he was always very satisfied with his 28 and 34 including the performance as a cruising boat(He did not race). The only problem he had with his new 34 was a minor part failure with the engine that was simple enough to fix just an inconvenience at the time.
