I'm considering buying a Laser. Actually, I'll be trading for it and
I'd like to know what the value of the boat is. Can anyone tell
me roughly what to expect to pay for a boat like this on the used market?
Thanks.

Hi John,
I just spoke with Can-Am Sailcraft in Cambridge, not to far
from Nashua, and they quoted an '84 Laser II at $2,200 to $2,500
with the trailer (doesn't include life jackets or a mention of the
quality of sails). They said that a new one goes for $3,000 without
the trailer.
Hope that helps. If you have more questions, Can-Am is my local
Laser distributer for parts. You can call them at (617) 661-7702.

Charlie,
thanks a lot. This is just the information I was looking for.
It looks like the trade deal I was going to cut is worthwhile.
Thanks for the line on Can-Am Sailcraft.
