850.1THREE HEADSAILSLAGUNA::MILLMAN_JAThu Aug 11 1988 18:407
    I LIKE A CUTTER FOR CRUISING BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF SAIL
    COMBINATIONS. FOR OUR CRUISE TO THE SOUTH PACIFIC I ADDED ANOTHER
    HEAD STAY ABOUT 1/3 THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE HEAD STAY AND THE STAYSAIL
    STAY. THIS ALLOWED A GENNY AND A YANKEE AS WELL AS THE STAYSAIL
    TO BE HOOKED ON AT ALL TIMES SO SAIL CHANGING WAS MUCH EASIER AND
    NOT PUT-OFF.

IS THE WIND BLOWING A STORM OUT THERE or why are you shouting?

Lower case is MUCH nicer on the eyes! Except for when you DO WANT TO SHOUT!

850.3MENTALITY OR EYES??????LAGUNA::MILLMAN_JAMon Aug 15 1988 12:115
    Phil your right.....maybe its the west coast mentality - but i don't
    have my own terminal and every time i sit down at one the upper
    case is always locked. At my age the eyes tend to not notice these
    things......
