Does anyone have any information on sailing electronics from the Balmar Corp? As I understand it, they build instruments that correlate several variables and assist the navigator in determining the "real" wind direction as opposed to the "apparent" wind direction and pass this info to an onboard computer. I am trying to determine weather it is possible to attach there equipment to any DEC hardware. Thanks Paul

I would guess that it's RS232 compatible like any other electronics that would feed a autopilot etc., meaning anything that has an RS232 compatible serial port would suffice (most DEC hardware fits the bill, along with most PCs, Laptops etc.). Tom-- | |||||
