Over the past several months I discovered that many of the people
following this notes file are members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
It is surely natural for us to be drawn to any discussion of our
favorite topic! We have an opportunity to share our knowledge of
seamanship and to learn from others' experiences in ways that only
networked computers can provide.
I have begun to assemble an Auxiliary noters directory/distribution
list and invite each of you to join in that effort. If you send
me mail @ CIMNET::CREASER, I'll add you to the list. I'd like to
make this list available to others, including each person listed,
so it will a public list.
Let me hear from you,
Jerry Creaser

Now that most of us are back from vacation, it's time to WAKE this
note up and report that the Digital Auxiliary distribution is growing.
To those of you who have responded, thanks. To those who are just
learning about the effort, I would like to invite you to sign-up
and share this opportunity to receive and contribute to the exchange
of Coast Guard Auxiliary information.
The 1st Coast Guard District has over 3000 Auxiliary members and
by my estimation there are about 50 members who also work at Digital.
Let us hear from you!
Jerry
