710.0. "N.E. Sources for Marine Plywood?" by CAMLOT::BLAISDELL () Mon Dec 14 1987 11:13

I'm looking for a source of marine grade mahogony plywood. The ideal location
would be in Nashua, NH; but, failing that, I'm willing to travel to Boston,
Portsmouth, Narragansett, Lake Winnipesaukee or Southeastern CT locations.

I called M.L.Condon in N.Y. but they won't ship anything but full sheets.

Thx for the help.

Try Kiever-Willard (sp?) in Newburyport. They used to sell retail
on Saturday mornings, and they supply the Marine woods.

Boulter Plywood in Somerville has what you need.

They used to be open Saturday mornings.

I've forgotten the address but they're in the phone book. I know
that many in this conference have used them before. They're not
    too far from rt. 93.

Boulter Plywood is definitely the best place in the area. They often
have 1/2 and smaller sheets, since they will cut to size (and charge
you, natch). They also usually have some 4x12 and 4x16 sheets, as
    well. Good place.

Thanks for the help. I visited Boulter's over the weeked and found exactly
what I needed. They have a catalog and they will custom cut and mail large and
small orders. They also carry specialty hardwoods, teak, and Sitka Spruce. I
didn't have the dimension with me, but I may be going back to them for some
3/4 x 3/4 ash to fit my DN tiller housing. To get your own copy of the catalog
or make orders contact:

	Boulter Plywood Corp.

BTW - I also called Keiver-Willard and they are no longer in the retail
businees and, in any case, Boulter's tells me they supply Keiver-Willard.

Thx agn for the help.
