408.0. "Portsmouth/Kittery mooring" by PUNDIT::MCWILLIAMS () Thu Sep 25 1986 17:09
I will be hauling my boat at Great Bay Marine in Newington early this
year on Monday the 6th of October. Given that the weather pattern
seems to be stagnating again into a rain cycle, and the weekend of the
4th/5th I only have one day when I can move the boat, I am interested
to see if I couldn't move the boat this weekend or during next week up
to the Portsmouth/Kittery area. Then all I have to worry about is
navigating up the river to Great Bay. I was wondering if anybody knows
anybody who moors up there who wouldn't be using their mooring for the
next week, and wouldn't mind renting it out for the week, or who I can
contact about renting a mooring. (Is Frisbe (sp?) still in charge of
the Kittery side of the harbor ?)
I would like to move the boat this weekend when I have crew, since
if I move it during the week, I would have to do it single handed
which is "doable" but not preferable.

| Jim and anyone else coming up to Portsmouth.
Frank Frisbee is the Kittery Harbor Master. You can also try
Great Bay as they do have guest moorings and you may just be able
to get a slip there.
