    Good service deserves a note...
    
    I recently got my Regency MT5500 repaired at a cost i could only
    have dreamed of before. The amount: $25.10. That included diagnosis,
    a 3 op-amp audio chip they had to order, and the repair.
    
    The place: Sawyers Electronics in Berlin, MA, of all places. They
    are a regency dealer and also do comercial 2-way stuff.
    
    I highly recomend them for electronics repair.
    
    The final note, when i told them i had the shop manual on order
    from regency, they replied "Oh, we really don't need that..."
    
    btw, the 5500 has served me quite well for over 5 years
